From the 1950's, this chip pictures the original owner of the Desert Inn, Wilbur Clark. The casino was under his ownership until 1967.

This is the 1st issue (c 1961) without reference to Wilbur Clark, although it appears that this issue was used prior to the end of his ownership.

Diamond Jim's is located in Jackpot, Nevada. Cool names for a casino AND a town. This chip was most likely issued between 1960 and 1962 and is considered the 2nd issue. More of these chips were released by the former owner's family in recent years.

This 3rd issue, from 1964, was not among those chips that were released in quantities by the owner's family.

This roulette chip might have been in play opening night, 1955. The Dunes Sultan is one of the most recognizable icons of Las Vegas' past.

The first three Dunes issues have the classic picture of the Sultan. This 3rd issue hit the tables in 1956. The Dunes met its demise through implosion in 1993, making room for the Bellagio.

This 8th issue chip may be canceled, but it is one of my favorite "building" chips.
